Round, layered, and velvety. A pu'er from Yunnan as a still beverage.
The Yunnan Bold is crafted from a Menghai Sheng Tai, a wild pu'er grown at 800 m in the forests of Xishuangbanna — the ancestral birthplace of tea. An earthy, woody depth that evokes aged fine wines, without a drop of alcohol.
Tasting profile
- Nose: Incense, damp earth, aged wood
- Palate: Dried figs, golden honey, ripe cherry
- Finish: Long, persistent, with a woody freshness at the close
- Structure: Round and enveloping. An almost creamy texture that reveals itself progressively
