We only collect data that helps us achieve the purpose set out in this Privacy Policy. We will not collect any additional data beyond the data listed below without notifying you first.

Data Collected in a Non-Automatic Way
We may also collect the following data when you perform certain functions on our Site:

·        Payment Information : Only our third-party partner (Shopify) will receive payment information when you use the Site's payment system, such as your credit card number and the expiration date. This information remains inaccessible to Ocanova.

·        Communications with Ocanova : We receive information, including the content of messages and emails, when you communicate with Ocanova (for example, for customer support requests, surveys, promotions, or studies).

·        The creation of an account by the User.

·        The purchase of an item within the Site.

 

2 – How we use the personal data

Data collected on our Site will only be used for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy or indicated on the relevant pages of our Site. We will not use your data beyond what we disclose in this Privacy Policy.

·        Provide, improve, and customize the Ocanova services : To provide you with personalized services, including by displaying your purchase history and order status in one place, offering simplified payment options when shopping, recommending products, and personalizing the products offered to you, and to improve the Services, including based on your use of consumer services.

·        Track and implement your privacy preferences and settings : To track and implement your privacy settings and preferences with us.

·        Communicate with you: To communicate with you about our services, including about product updates, your account, and changes to our policies and terms. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.

·        Authentication, integrity, security, and safety : To authenticate your account, provide a secure payment and shopping experience, and to detect, investigate, and prevent malicious conduct, fraudulent activity or unsafe experiences, address security threats, protect public safety, and secure our services for you and our merchants.

·        Legal reasons : To comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process, including requests from law enforcement or government agencies, to investigate or participate in civil discovery, litigation, or other adversarial legal proceedings, and to enforce or investigate potential violations of our terms or policies.

 

3 – Whom we share the personal data with

Employees

·        To process shipments and parcel tracking; and

·        To settle any shipment discrepancies, returns or other.

 

Third parties will not be able to access the User’s data beyond what is reasonably necessary to achieve the given purpose.

4 – How long we store the personal data

5 – How we protect your personal data

To protect your security, our third party uses the strongest available browser encryption and stores all our data on servers in secure facilities. Some data, like name, address and email, is only accessible to some of our employees. Our employees are bound by strict confidentiality agreements, and a breach of this agreement would result in the employee’s termination and a criminal charge.

 

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that the User’s data is secure and that Users are protected, there always remains the risk of harm. The Internet can be insecure at times and therefore we are unable to guarantee the security of the User’s data beyond what is reasonably practical.

9 - How to opt-out of data collection, use or disclosure

Your Privacy Rights and Choices

You may have certain rights to manage your personal data and the following rights may apply, subject to certain exceptions:

·        Access and Portability : Right to request access to your personal data.

·        Correction / Rectification : Right to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data in certain circumstances.

·        Deletion / Erasure : Right to delete personal data about you.

·        Right to opt out : Right to opt-out of the ‘sharing’ of your personal data for cross context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.

 

You can also update your account information or request to deactivate or delete your account directly through your account on the Site.
