Our dark roast inspired the addition of a new origin to our collection. Sumatra and Colombia provide a rich, full-bodied coffee for the French press, drip coffee, and espresso.

The dark roast blend is composed of Sumatra and Colombia. Both of these beans handle darker roasts very well and offer amazing flavours. You won't find any offensive bitterness or charcoal taste here - just smooth richness accompanied by amazing notes of nuts, dark chocolate, and a full, smoky body. For a dark roast, we recommend immersion and espresso-style brewing. Coffee makers such as the French press, AeroPress, and even "Clever Drippers" will wonderfully complement the roast profile.

Our dark roast blend is rated 10 on the roast scale and 49 on the Agtron Gourmet Scale established by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
