Janome 1600P Series Walking Foot

The Janome 1600P Series Walking Foot (also referred to an even feed foot) is design with a narrow feed base to match up correctly with the narrow feed dog system of the Janome 1600P's straight stitch system.

Great for straight stitch quilting on quilts with batting and also helps feed through heavy materials such as vinyl, canvas, and leather. The walking foot "walks" over fabric to assist with keeping the fabric layers feeding at the same rate. With this foot, fabric can be sewn without shifting or puckering since the fabric is gripped and fed by both the upper and lower feed teeth. It is also often used in quilting when sewing two layers of fabric with batting in between them. This foot is a must have for any home sewer!!
