Healthy vaginal flora reduces the risk of fungal proliferation, thereby decreasing the risk of infections. The same study found that Lactobacillus plantarum KABP-061 helps reduce the recurrence rate by 60% in women suffering from recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis.
