HMF® UTI is a combination of research-backed probiotics and PACRAN®, a clinically studied cranberry extract that helps prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women. Approximately 10 to 20% of women experience one or more incidents of urinary discomfort or urinary tract infection each year, with a recurrence rate of about 20%. Cranberries are rich in polyphenolic antioxidant compounds such as proanthocyanidins, which reduce the adhesion of E. coli bacteria to the uroepithelial cells lining the bladder.
