HMF Intensive contains a combination of clinically proven probiotics to support normal intestinal flora following antibiotic therapy and significantly reduce symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in adults and children over 11 years of age. Clinical studies have shown that supplementing with the probiotic formula contained in HMF® Intensive supports gastrointestinal health and helps reduce microflora disturbances caused by antibiotic use. Furthermore, a clinical study revealed that daily supplementation with this probiotic formula for eight weeks significantly improved six measures of IBS symptoms (symptom severity score, abdominal pain, bloating, pain days, bowel habit satisfaction, and quality of life). Specifically, probiotic intake led to a 22% decrease in symptoms on days with intestinal discomfort, a 32% improvement in bowel habit satisfaction, and a 30% improvement in quality of life. Compared to placebo treatment, bowel habit satisfaction and the change in symptom severity score showed significant improvement after six weeks.
