Description
HeatnBond Medium Weight Tricot Fusible Interfacing is an extremely versatile product. Mid-weight interfacing coordinates nicely with all types of fabrics. It’s great to have a medium weight tricot on hand for garment construction and tailoring. Use it with lighter weight fabrics to give them more support and use it for minimal support of heavier fabrics.
The Tricot Interfacing is especially popular among quilters whose designs encompass a range of fabrics. It is popularly used for reinforcing recycled t-shirts blocks used to create really fun quilts, pillowcases and tapestries.
Tricot interfacing has a grainline and is meant to be cut respective to the grainline of the fabric. The tricot fusible interfacing has two way stretch which is meant for knits but can also be used with wovens. It will only stretch as much as the fabric it is fused to.
HeatnBond Fusible Interfacing products have an adhesive application on one side. Ironing it directly onto the fabric eliminates the need for basting and pinning. Constructing a garment or any other project using a fusible interfacing is much easier because it will not shift about.
