Ethiopia - Single Origin

Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee, and here is our take on a traditional medium roast Ethiopian coffee. With an amazing bouquet of citrus flowers, it has an incredibly round body with wonderful notes of caramel that finish with a dry mouthfeel that leaves you wanting more.

The reason coffee favors these citrus and floral notes is mainly due to the terroir and dry climate. The cherries ripen faster due to higher temperatures, which promotes a beautiful acidity in the cup (not to be confused with bitterness).

This particular roast is very well suited for manual and automated drip as well as immersion brewing (French press, AeroPress).

Our Single Origin Ethiopia comes from a medium roast of 19 on the Roast Scale and 76 on the Agtron Gourmet Scale established by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
