Another peculiarity: its harmonious and stable geometry, this flower being the only one to have six petals.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVery present in Europe, and particularly in France, the star-of-Bethlehem thrives particularly in clay soils. It is often found in meadows and on the sides of paths where it grows, gently swayed by the sun's rays. It is also found as an ornamental plant in gardens, as its star-shaped flowers make perfect decorations. It develops in the form of umbels that appear from May onwards. Each stem has between 5 and 15 flowers. This plant with an oviform bulb reaches a height of between 10 and 30 cm depending on the environment in which it grows.
