This complex sweetness is due in part to the tropical climate accompanied by imposing mountains and volcanoes that create a natural path for many bodies of water and streams, contributing to the high humidity and forest biomes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eCoffee shrubs and trees are grown on these volcanic slopes. The moisture-laden fog brings all sorts of water-soluble nutrients that nourish and enrich the soil and leaves, helping the berries mature at a progressive rate to encourage the sweetness mentioned above.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eMost farmers harvest and process their own beans, as some regions are so remote that transportation and labour cannot reach them daily during the harvest season.
